Angel Wind Energy was founded in 2008 to provide central Illinois
and Northwest Indiana with a viable, affordable solution to the rising
costs of energy. We are a small, 2nd generation, family-run
business located in the heart of Central IL.
We run our shop on wind and solar power, and use every product we
offer in our daily lives.
We have small town values, a strong work ethic, and unmatched
customer satisfaction.

excavation, and tower installation for the past 30 years.
We were one of the first Skystream Factory Trained Installers in
Illinois and Indiana. We have worked under the industry's finest
installers. Angel Wind Energy is Licensed, Bonded, and Insured for
every project we install. We are ETA Certified for PV installation, and
factory trained on every Wind Energy System we offer.
Angel Wind Energy has 2 of Illinois's and Indiana's MREA trained
and Certified Wind and Solar Site Assessors. MREA Training is the
Industry's standard for accurate installation recommendations and
RE system siting. Ben Harroun and Sylvia Zielke are accredited
assessors on staff.

Our installation team has over 30 years in the Home Remodeling and
New Construction trades.
Ben Harroun, Co-Founder and Vice President
Our primary site evaluator and system designer. He has two degrees from
Illinois State University in both Art & Design and Technology. He has
first-hand experience in wind site evaluation and is one of Illinois's only
MREA Certified Wind Site Assessors. Ben is a factory trained installer for all
wind and solar systems Angel Wind Energy carries. He has been mentored
by the wind and solar industry's top experts, and studied renewable energy
extensively over the past several years. He has worked in the
remodeling/construction business for 10 years with experience in roofing,
foundation, electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
Will Harroun, Co-Founder and Project Manager
Will is one of our installers and lead project manager. He is a factory
trained installer for all Southwest Wind power products, and attended two
years of study at Kankakee Community College in Construction
Management. He has been a general contractor in central Illinois for the
past 10 years remodeling over 20 homes from start to finish, working on
new construction, and experienced in concrete forming, excavation,
electrical, and renewable energy systems.
Michael Harroun, Co-Founder and President
Our President and sales director has over 30 years in the home renovation
trade. Specializing in septic installation, general remodeling, concrete
forming, electrical, gas, plumbing, and customer sales. Michael is owner of
both the Harvest Moon Twin Drive-in(a business run by him for 22 years)
and Angel Services(formerly Angel Auto-a business operated in a town of
1300 people for over 27 years). He excels at offering people the type of
service they would expect fifty years ago. He has a longevity to his
businesses based on simple, honest principles.
On our larger installations, Angel Wind Energy uses the top
sub-contractors in the Renewable Energy Industry.
They have experience installing wind turbines as small as 10kw Bergeys
to the massive 2.5 Megawatt wind farm units across the country.
All of our work is performed to exacting standards by the best
contractors. We do not cut corners on our installations and deliver the
best service, products, and prices for our clients.
